Serving Size: 1 capsules
Amount per capsule:
Vitamin C (as ascorbyl palmitate) 10mg
Diamine Oxidase 4.2mg (10,000 HDU)
(from porcine kidney protein concentrate)
Other Ingredients: Micro-crystalline cellulose (plant fibre), vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, water and gellan gum) and ascorbyl palmitate.
Contains No: Milk, Egg, Fish, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, Soy, Gluten, Artificial Colors
Directions
Take 1 capsule no more than 15 minutes before the consumption of histamine-rich foods, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Caution:
Children and pregnant or lactating women should consult their healthcare practitioner prior to use. This product contains an ingredient derived from porcine (pig). Avoid if allergic to pork or any other ingredient. Histamine Block is NOT EFFECTIVE for symptoms of immune-related food allergies, such as peanuts, shellfish, etc., or for gluten intolerance due to sensitivity or coeliac disease. DAO is not absorbed and does not have systemic activity. Histamine Block does not manage or address antibody-related or IgE-related food allergies.

It Works
Have been using this for several years and it works. Hormone fluctuations exacerbate my histamine issues, brought on by childhood mild exposure. I still follow a low histamine, organic diet but some days I need the added DAO support.

It works
I have histamine intolerance and this product taken before meals has taken away issues such as [condition removed], stomach upsets and general discomfort. In turn I digest food better and reap the benefits of feeling less tired. My only criticism is that it's too expensive.

Works!
For anyone who has suffered the awful effects of low DAO and resulting histamine overload, you’ll do just about anything to relieve it. Yes, this is expensive and a porcine product, but it has been instrumental in reducing accidental histamine exposure or increased susceptibility from hormone fluctuations and resulting gut issues. I live a low histamine lifestyle and reading Dr Lynch’s book (the man behind the Seeking Health supplements) gave me great insight into understanding and managing histamine and other issues.

This supplement (diamine oxidase) is not readily available in Australia, thank you Return 2 Health for stocking it. This is people with histamine intolerance due to a deficiency of diamine oxidase, which removes excess histamines from the food we eat. Taken with a low histamine diet it can be a life changer. Histamine intolerance symptoms are varied and in my case debilitating - [conditions removed] and more. I've also been taking ProBiota HistaminX and there is improvement, after years of illness. I couldn't get a diagnosis from doctors but after searching I found a naturopath who is helping me.

recommended for amine sensitivity
This appears to be making a difference for my amine sensitivity. A couple months in and there appear to be less reactions and more tolerance. I did take this with the histamine probiota.
