Take 2 capsules any time of day or night with or without food or as directed by your healthcare professional. Taking 2 capsules before bed may support the healthy onset of sleep. To prevent flushing from niacin, take with food.

Niacin Flushing: This formula contains niacin, a B vitamin that can cause flushing, red skin, or itching in some individuals. This harmless reddening can occur on the ears, face, arms, torso, and occasionally the legs. Unlike allergic reactions, breathing remains normal and no other systems other than the skin are affected. Niacin flushing generally subsides within 30 minutes with no other lasting effects. It is related to niacin's normal role in vasodilation (widening of blood vessels). Vasodilation leads to better circulation, capillary flushing, and increased blood flow to the surface of the skin. Solution: Taking this supplement with food can minimize, or completely prevent the niacin flush.
